REPAIRED WIRE HARNESS. RED WIRE WITH BLUE STRIPE BROKEN RIGHT AT CONNECTOR. IF CODE RETURNS WILL HAVE TO ORDER $80 REPAIR KIT FROM VW DEALER AND RE PIN NEW CONNECTOR. ACTUATED SOLENOID WITH SCANNER AFTER WIRING REPAIR TO ENSURE SOLENOID OPERATION. SOLENOID IS WORKING.
Air bag and TPMS lights are on as well. Scanned engine for codes and found: u101700-ABS BRAKE MODULE READ OUT DTC P240A00-EVAP EMISSION LEAK DETECTION PUMP HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN P0447-EVAP VENT CONTROL CIRCUIT STUCK OPEN P240000-EVAP LEAK DETECTION PUMP CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN FUSE 6 IS GOOD. REMOVED PASSENGER REAR WHEEL WELL TO ACCESS LEAK DETECTION PUMP. REMOVED FENDER LINER AND REAR WHEEL AND FOUND WHERE A MOUSE HAS BEEN LIVING IN FENDER WELL. FOUND LEAK DETECTION PUMP WIRING IS DAMAGED. WILL NEED NEW HARNESS. CAN TRY TO REPAIR.
